Zaterdag 25 september was het feest voor het wijkcentrum. Uit alle hoeken van BZHW kwamen mensen om elkaar te ontmoeten en kunst te maken. Onder het genot van hapjes en drankjes. De oude wijkraad was er en ook de nieuwe wijkvereniging. Jong was er, zoals de wijkreporters, en ook oud.
Lopend Buurtje vond het leuk om al deze mensen te ontmoeten en dat ook iedereen iets bijdroeg aan het feest. Bovenal waren we blij met nieuwe en hernieuwde contacten tussen wijkbewoners. De wijk is door de jaren heen enorm veranderd, wat blijft is dat het een thuis vormt voor veel verschillende mensen en gewoonten.
Het MultiCulti kunstwerk is voor en deel afgekomen en kan nog tot 15 oktober worden aangevuld in het wijkcentrum.

Saturday 25 September it was party in front of the community center. People came from all corners of BZHW to meet each other and make art. While enjoying snacks and drinks. The old neighborhood council was there and so was the new neighborhood association. There was young, like the neighborhood reporters, and old too.
Lopend Buurtje enjoyed meeting all these people and that everyone contributed to the party. Above all, we were pleased with the new and renewed contacts between residents of the neighbourhood. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, what remains is that it is a home to many different people and customs.
The MultiCulti artwork has partly been completed and can be completed in the community center until 15 October.
